Adler, Samuel Hans Composers Composition Music
Born in Mannheim, Germany in 1928, he came to the United States in 1938. He was educated at Boston and Harvard Universities. He was for many years professor and chair of the composition department at the Eastman School of Music and has had many commissions from major orchestras.
