Blacher, Boris Composers Composition Music


Chinese born of Russian parents, Modern period composer Boris Blacher (1903-1975) studied music in Irkutsk, Siberia, Harbin, China, and Berlin. His most successful compositions were his ballets. He also wrote Variations on a Theme of Paganini in 1947.
