"Ouachita has no national fraternities or sororities, but there are nine local social clubs. The governing body for the women's social clubs is the Panhellenic Council; for the men's clubs it is the Inter-Social Club Council. Within the framework of the University's objectives and ideals, these clubs induct new student members during a stipulated period in the Spring semester.
