The Interwork Institute - Through the use of education, research, and advocacy, works in partnership with individuals and organizations to enable communities to support, appreciate, and engage diverse members.

• Teaching, Technology and Restructuring Partnership Program - Provides in-depth practice educational technology, interdisciplinary teaching, and programs curriculum and college of education instruction for diverse learners.
• SDSU Literacy Center - Provides support for literacy development for children and adults through direct services to schools and the community, literacy research, and teacher preparation and development.
• Exceptional Family Resource Center - Offers emotional support, factual information and encouragement to families of departments and programs children with disabilities.
• Compact for Success Program - A joint program between SDSU and the Sweetwater college of education Union High School District to guarantee college admission college of education to certain students.
• National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association (NSSLHA) - Provides support and services for students studying in the School departments and programs of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. Includes guest speakers and departments and programs community service relating to the field.
• Doctoral Program in Education - Joint program with Claremont Graduate University aims to develop research departments and programs on democratic schooling, social justice, equal education, and the improvement departments and programs of educational systems serving diverse communities.
