Wisbech Cambridgeshire England United Kingdom


Wisbech is situated to the north of the county, within sight of The Wash, and is known as the "Capital of The Fens" - an area of land in East Anglia which was formally marshes. Dykes were built to drain the water off the land, making the land more inhabitable and creating a very rich soil in the process.
