Rutland Counties Vermont United States


Rutland County is bounded on the north by Addison County, to the east by Windsor County, south by Bennington County and to the west Lake Champlain and the state of New York. The county was incorporated in February, 1781 and the Shire Town is Rutland. As of 2000, there are 63,400 people, 25,678 households, and 16,742 families residing in the county.
